About nine months ago, one of my yoga students shared with me about her troubled teenage daughter who had lost interest in life and withdrawn herself into her own cocoon. She would choose to engage with her mother as and when she felt like it depending on to her moods. She had stopped attending school for about one year due to lack of passion and depression.
Her mother had wanted to bring her to see me for private counselling but it didn’t happen earlier because of deep incompletion in their relationship. Her daughter had a lot of anger and incompletion with her mother. Naturally, she wouldn’t listen to her mother’s suggestion as she had seen a psychiatrist which it didn’t work for her, let alone coming to see her yoga teacher. The good thing was I had worked on the incompletion of her mother about one year ago so she was in a better space to relate with her daughter.

Last week I conducted a two-day workshop in Taiwan called ‘Experience Your Divinity’, to a group of participants focusing on awakening the divine feminine consciousness of individuals. Before you can experience the divinity within, you have to heal all the wrong ideas you carry about your gender and the patterns related to this wrong cognition.
So, in the first the self-inquiry activity, the participants were requested to look in and see how they had started identifying themselves by the wrong ideas inserted by others, then they drew a picture to encapsulate the essence of their experience and shared with the group. One common thread amongst the participants was the gender confusion they went through in their lives inserted by parents and society which started a life of suffering and confused identity. It is like a legacy that has been passed down from generation after generation. When we don’t understand the truth of our gender identity, we create many patterns unconsciously. Here is the truth given by a living incarnation, Bhagawan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam (fondly known as Swamiji), he revealed that the gender identity is the string of your patterns, if you cut that, all patterns will be destroyed. You will be free from all the patterns.

Last Friday on 8th March, many people around the globe celebrated International Women’s Day. Look at the world around you, women are empowered by their prevailing presence in courts, corporate powerhouses, parliament, entrepreneurs, scientists, writers and social activists – they are everywhere! As a housewife, a mother – they are the strongest in raising a whole family. There is a big difference in the Western world of feminism which is about fight for equality, however, women in ancient India had enjoyed the equal status with men. They were educated and even trained in the art of warfare by choice. Tell you honestly, it is only when I become a living Hindu that I truly feel empowered as a woman. Before that I had suppressed this dimension of me being conditioned by the parents and society. It was only by the grace of my Guru, His Divine Holiness Bhagawan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam (fondly known as Swamiji) that I discovered the power of Divine Feminine Consciousness. When he awakened this dimension in me, tremendous healing happened in my inner space. I become the embodiment of Shakti, Devi Durga (Cosmic Mother). Last Friday, I facilitated an impromptu session for a group of almost 30 Chinese devotees where I brought understanding to this aspect of Vedic tradition, then I took them through a healing process by invoking the presence of Shakti – Divine Mother.
